Why we are green

Mat Men encourages companies to choose mats over layout boards because they can easily be vacuumed, cleaned, and reused. Our Mats are made from more than 90% recycled materials. However, layout boards are still available. We sand, clean, and scrub layout board after it has been used on a production for reuse. Reused boards are available to customers at a discount. Any boards that are no longer suitable for reuse are sent away for recycling. In fact, we try to clean and reuse all of our products, if possible. In an industry filled with waste, we try hard to keep our footprint as small as possible. We do these things because the environment is important to us now, as well as to our future generations.
